Message From Robert Barber

Dear Fellow South Carolinians,

From my visits around the state, it's clear to me that the citizens of South Carolina are ready for change. After four years of gridlock, you're looking for new, dependable leadership and are ready to turn our state around by putting experienced, hard-working citizens into office. You're looking for an optimistic, forward-looking vision for the future of our state rooted strong values and genuine compassion.

But above all, voters will be choosing our state's direction. We face many serious challenges, including our embarrassingly high unemployment rate, our poorly supported public schools, our struggling health care system, and our state's crumbling rural infrastructure. I believe our state is ready to turn itself around. We just need the right leaders – leaders who will put politics aside, roll up their sleeves, and get to work. I am ready to take on these challenges. While I don't pretend to have all of the answers, I do have ideas on where we should start.
Together, we can turn South Carolina around.

Best wishes,

Robert Barber

You should have asked him what his Driving Record looks like compared to his opponents! :)

I am still voting for Andre

I think this will be a really close race with Barber pulling a win out around 51-52% of the vote. He is a sharp candidate and the voters are tired of our current reckless Lt. Governor that is in office.

Barber's got my vote.
Andre is too young for the job ~ his work ethic has yet to be fully developed. That is why many of his political moves have the lurking odor of frat boy highjinks. He would have a fantastic career in NASCAR y'all. Maybe he could get Darlington back on the map.

I am not sure what it means to have a work ethic "that is not fully developed." Andre surely has a lot of energy. He appears very busy, but unfocused and easily distracted. Maybe a little Zoloft would help him, eh Uncle?
