Top Ten List: Top Ten Biggest Losers In The Mark Sanford FanClub

Pearl Jam's First Record And My All Time Favorite CD -"Ten"

1. Mark Sanford - SC Governor
2. Katon Dawson - SCGOP Chairman
3. Richard Eckstrom - SC Comptroller General
4. Tom Davis - Beaufort, SC Attorney
5. Jenny Sanford - Mark's Wife
6. Karen Floyd - Candidate for SC Superintendent of Education
7. Joel Sawyer - Current Press Secretary to Mark Sanford
8. Ralph Norman - Candidate for U.S. House District 5
9. Joshua Gross - Director of SC Club 4 Growth
10. The Herald Journal Editorial Staff- Spartanburg Newspaper

You know these are some bad losers when Former Press Secretary Will Folks can't even crack the Top Ten. He normally would finish in the top two of almost any other list such as this, but this slate of buffoons are just full of improper behaviors and ignorant loyalty to Sanford. Other receiving votes include Dell Isham, executive director of the Sierra Club's South Carolina chapter, Sunny Phillips -GOP Fundraiser, and every person working with the Mark Sanford Campaign.
The real question I struggled with was who deserved the number 2 spot. For the most part over the past 3 1/2 years, Richard Eckstrom has voted in line with Mark Sanford 97% of the time on the Budget & Control Board, but the remarks SCGOP Chairman Katon Dawson has made towards Sen. Tommy Moore, and the unsurmountable loyalty that he has shown for Mark Sanford, it's safe to say he surpassed Eckstrom and is now sitting nicely in the number two spot. In this tough field, people who didn't even merit votes but should get honorable mentions are: Sen. Kevin Bryant, Sen. Greg Ryberg, Former House Speaker David Wilkins, and one of my best friends Joshua Richards (who has a Masters degree since May 06, still hasn't found a job, but is still a loyal Sanford supporter).
The Herald-Journal made this list because if you have read any of their editorials over the past 3 1/2 years, you would be sickened to death with the lovefest that these guys have with Sanford! Joshua Gross made this list because of his whacked out thinking that follows Sanford. Ralph Norman made the list because of his true following right behind Sanford in all of his uncaring budget vetos. Joel Sawyer, Sanford's press secretary, let's face it ...... his job is to mislead, that's all he does (he use to work for the Herald Journa). Karen Floyd, the wannabe successor of Mark Sanford and Mark Sanford's tag team partner in the assault on public education, she probably should have made the top 5 but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I think we're all familiar with Jenny Sanford and her Mike Campbell endorsement and her behind the scenes show of running the Governor's office so I'll skip to the next one. Tom Davis, the attorney from Beaufort who made all of those ruthless and misleading remarks towards Tommy Moore about his record, and Richard Eckstrom, who is Mark Sanford's little sidekick. Congratulations Katon Dawson, you are #2 in the list: Top Ten Losers in the Mark Sanford FanClub!

Okay, and just which Republican is it that you are supporting in your rush to vote a split ticket in Novemeber. I suppose you have picked out a token to receive your vote. So far you have bashed just about every Republican statewide candidate out there. Why do you see yourself better than Katon Dawson? Isn't it his job to support and praise the Republican candidate while vigorously pointing out the deficiencies of the Democrat candidate? The last time I checked Mark Sanford won the Republican primary. He defeated Oscar Lovelace 60-40. He is the candidate that Republicans should vote for. I have read your blog and as far as I can tell you are 100% Democrat on candidates and issues. I would like to know why "not voting straight ticket" has become the new matra for Democrats. It's even beating out "we need nonpartisan elections."

Other than vouchers, what issues has he discussed on this website that in your eyes, clearly define him a Democrat?

I'd like to thank you for my inclusion on this list. While normally being branded a "loser" isn't an honor, being branded on any list that includes these other fine folks is truly an honor, and one I'll hold dear right through to next week...

Furthermore, I'd also like to congratulate Mark, Katon, Richard, Tom, Jenny, Karen, Joel and Ralph for having achieved even greater status than that which I have as yet attained. It's a privilege to be named with you in this fine enterprise. I look forward to our post-election celebrations on November 8.

(Now... if you were branding me a "loser" based on my college football picks, that'd be something else entirely, and probably closer to the mark...)

If Gross is, in fact, a loser, it is in part because he makes promises like he'll look into the questions about Karen Iacovelli, and then hoping people will forget he ever made that promise.

Partisan hackery at its worst.

LOL. NVB, I was wondering why she wasn't on the list with him.

Due to her having health problems, thats why she got left off the list. I didn't want Joshua Gross to write and publish a huge editorial in the state newspaper about me.

Ironically, Katon supported Peeler very openly in the Governor's RunOff 2 years ago.

Dude: Katon nor Wilkins even like Sanford. If you gonna write about GOP politics at least study on it first.

I don't have the video footage, but watching David Wilkins response on fox news or wyff news after sanfords state of the state addresses, you would have seen where wilkins just glorifies the name mark sanford over and over and over.

As far as Katon Dawson not liking sanford, it wouldn't surprise me behind the scene if he really doesn't support sanford, but as far as everything we have seen publicly, how can we say that he doesn't support him?
