Dangit.....we're not playing badminton here! We are playing a political game against some pretty (insert whatever adjective here you would like) political clowns! The end goal is to win and to get our State back on the right track, but if you think we're going to get there by politely asking the Republicans to be nice and step aside, let me have a slice of your pepperoni pizza, you're so naive it hurts!
This is just the beginning of it though. Sad thing is, if the Democrats don't block these punches, I guarantee you the SC Media and Voters will not only buy into these Sanfordite talking points, they will hook, line and sinker into them. The Sanfordites will make their campaign so negative and nasty, it'll make the mess that the Mark Sanford pigs made in the Statehouse look clean! If Democrats in this State don't strike back soon and stand up for themselves, they are pathetically weak and hopeless. It's crazy to have Republicans blast blast blast/negative negative negative campaign against the Democrats, and the Democrats not do ANYTHING about it. I understand its hard for a Democrat to stoop to their level because Democrats don't know how to think that negativley and irrationaly towards people but geeze louise ....... it is time to get back to the drawing board and start fighting fire with fire!
I'm not going to blast Katon Dawson. I'm going to give him the opportunity to come on here and get his opinion on his candidates and the election and ask him to give an explanation about this website. I (cross your fingers), hopefully next week if his schedule permits, will have SC Democratic Party Chairman Joe Erwin on.

You are 100% right and 0% wrong. Maybe fighting fire with water is the best way to go, I do know one way not to go and that is ..... to not do anything at all.
The Democrats cant be Mr. Nice guy anymore. It sucks that its come down to this but the Republicans have proved that they will not and do not know how to be play nice guy back. If Democrats continue to look defenseless and scared, they'll never convince SC voters to vote on their side.
This isn't coming from hard core Sanford-ites, it's coming from the party. I seriously doubt the Sanford camp had anything to do with this, and likely didn't even see it before it went live. Parties do this as a general rule - if Lovelace had won the primary, this site would still be up. The Democrats did this to Sanford in 2002, and will do it again this year.
I agree...I don't think Sanford is as stupid as the party he represents but they're dumb enough to let him use their asses--so shouldn't he go for it? When I first saw this I couldn't get past Moore being labeled a LIBERAL. What a joke. When I saw that...I assumed some REAL DUMBASSES did this site. Now that you've pointed out who did...I was right, wasn't I?

Do either of the candidates Sanford or Moore have a better long term, sustainable plan for creating wealth in the Palmetto state, and addressing some of the worst social statistics in the United States of America. Do they have a plan with a clearly stated objective, milestones, a schedule, and a target completion date? Do they truly inspire and project a vision that portrays any sense of greatness?
When looking across the political landscape, one can only look to the political left, look to the political right, and just shake your head and just take a dim view of it all.

As a damn yankee, moved to SC from NYC in 1983, I think it's high time to stop taking the "high road." Fire can be fought with fire, water, a blanket, chemicals and last but not least mud. Let he who has no dirt be the first to cast mud. Seriously, if Sanford and his inner circle were good at the typical "dirty tricks" they would be planning the next four years and not campaigning this year.
Sanford's got sac when it comes to doing the full frontal assault, but does not seem very good at heavy-handed politics.
